Professional ProDVIDA Certification!

We adhere to the Code Of Ethics of the National Dance Council of America, and every instructor is REQUIRED (which you won't find at ANY of our competitors) to pass a full Professional Dance Certification through the nationally recognized DVIDA syllabus. So you'll know that you are being taught the correct steps and technique to "hold your own" anywhere you should dance. And whatever level you'd like to attain, whether it be just a few steps to get by, or become a future national champion, we will get you there at the rate you can learn. What does that mean? it means you learn faster, and save money getting to your goals! Let's see our competition say that!

The Promenade Staff... Looking for a great dance teacher? Make sure s/he is Certified Pro! - Our staff specializes in getting you to your goals in as short, fun, and easy time as possible! You'll be using your new steps in no time! Each instructor is continually professionally certified in all the hottest dances and styles.

Joe Way, Owner... 2x World Championship Adjudicator and former U.S. Professional Finalist in 3 styles, including International Latin, American Rhythm, and 10 Dance. Also a former Arthur Murray World International Latin Champion and Top Over All Teacher, Joe has run a total of 7 dance studios throughout the U.S., and serves as an NDCA certified consultant, adjudicator, and master of ceremonies. Joe has also been seen on dance shows “Dancing with the Stars” and “America’s Ballroom Challenge,” and is creative director of the new TV show “Once Upon A Waltz.”

Tricia Cendejas, Instructor & Trainer... World Professional Swing Finalist. Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Professional Rhythm Finalist. California Star Ball Rising Star Rhythm Champion. Competitive rhythm trainer and former dance studio owner and manager, Tricia also serves as Promenade's Dance Counselor.

Paul Bond, Instructor... With 8 years of competitive dance experience, Paul is best known as one of the area's top social dancers. As one of Promenade's DanceSport teachers, Paul is a professionally trained as specialist in teaching beginners and social dancers up to championship competitors.

Jennelle Wax, Instructor... Actress, singer, and dancer Jennelle has been a featured dancer on television, including MTV, stage, and on the DanceSport competition floor. Jennelle brings the performance side of dance alive.

Sean Siahaan, Instructor... As our club dance teacher, Sean specializes in the social dances in the authentic forms. For being able to hold your own at the salsa clubs and swing club, Sean keeps the Promenade teaching up to date to what is being danced out there now.

Kayla Goetz, Instructor... One of our dance specialists, Kayla is trained specifically in taking newcomers ad guiding them to becoming beautiful dancers. Kayla is also one of our wedding dance specialists.

Justice Devae, Independent... Originally from the east coast where she studied american smooth and rhythm, Justice relocated to OC for a unique opportunity to teach classes that were modern, creative and beyond basic ballroom. She is also a model and actress, with tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and theater.

Espie Hernandez , Independent... Former dancer for Celia Cruz and Michael Jackson, Mayan World Salsa Finalist and Salsa Extravaganza Champion. Espie is a principle dancer for TV and stage, is a highly requested coach, demonstrator, and lecturer, at salsa and latin congresses throughout the U.S.

Katelyn Gault, Office & Reception... A performer in her own right, Katelyn is the friendly receptionist greeting you at the door. She is also a student at Chapman University, majoring in performing arts, and often appears in stage shows through the theatre department.
